When Pat Butcher died in Eastenders I decided I’d much rather watch a show about two old broads solving mysteries so I was going to try put Pat Butcher and Peggy Mitchell into this here 39 Steps cover I saw. I never finished it, but it’s been on my desktop for too long so I’m sticking it up here until I start following through or someone else takes it and adds the text and colours for me so I can take the credit.

I started this after I saw Brighton Rock but never got around to finishing it up. You see I have a theory that I would have enjoyed Brighton Rock a lot more if it had focused on Ida (Helen Mirren) solving mysteries with her bumbling sidekick; the guy John Hurt was playing, rather than Pinkie and Rose. I wanted it to look murky and noirish complete with detective office style venetian blinds. But its currently cluttering my my desktop unfinished to I’m banishing it to the Tumblr ether until I get around to it. Goodbye forever Ida.
