Commissions

Yo,

So some very nice people have been paying me to draw things, which is awesome. Obviously this isn’t my full time job, but I really love doing it so I try and keep any cost to a minimum and will really just take what I’m given so long as it covers postage, but if you’re kind enough to want to through me a few shekels I’ve done up a guide price list:

Black and White:
Head and Shoulders: €3
Full figure: €5
Action scene €10
Postage and packaging is usually another €2.

Larger Projects:
Drop me a line and we’ll sort something out, but for the most part I’m a cheap date.

Anything else or to order something the ask box is always open: http://uppercut.tumblr.com/ask

Thanks guys,

Adam.

Project Rooftop are having a fan art friday for Wonder Woman, so I drew the laziest combination of costumes possible. I like to think it’s what Wonder Women would wear to Ikea on a Sunday morning.

Between the new X-Force line up (*cough* Puck *cough*), and the Ronettes reference in Young Avengers it’s fair to say I’m a little excited about comics at the moment.

Anyway, I done doodled me some of the new X-Force designs.

"All I want for christmas is Hawkeye #1.
The fact I don’t own it is a source of constant shame.
Sort this out for me internet."

Me.
Just now.

We meet again old friend.

Al’righ’ internet? It’s been a while.

Between eating, sleeping, and working there’s just no time for distill the good stuff from all the gifs on Tumblr these days.Added to this is the constant crushing guilt that I’m not giving enough time to a comic project I was invited to working on,  particularly when it’s creators, Dan and Jesse, are such awesome interesting  people and have been saying insanely nice things (exhibits A and B), both of which I only saw just now in a wave “aw man, oh man” noises.

There stuff is great, and you should check it out (here). It’s plupy and fun, and Dan’s art has a distinct Mike Mignola vibe at time, which has to be the highest praise you can give to an artist right?

Anyway, I need to get started on the next page, so here are some panels I like:

Goodnight, Internet.
I have missed you.

I want your fan fiction.

So, for reasons that have long since past into the mists of time that shroud last week, my pals and I are involved in a competition to produce the best fanzine. I’ve already started on an epic piece based on the Tribe (what is the Tribe? Only the best thing to come out of New Zealand between 1999 and 2003). But thats not important. What is important is I’ve never written fan fiction before, so I’m probably awful at it.

But that is where you come in! I make terrible comics, that look like this:

So if you want your fan fiction (about anything bar One Direction) made into a comic, send it to me and I’ll send you back a comic.

If this seems like a fair trade to you click here and send me something.

It’s International Woman’s Day so I drew Countess Markievicz looking like Han Solo.
Why? Because I can.

I worked my way up it, so the boots are good, the parachute pants passable, and everything else scribbled.

1 hour doodle.

Edit: I forgot to draw the sole of Daggers left boot.
My bad.

I drew this a while ago

To submit as a preliminary to an horror/music anthology.
It was rejected. So I thought, why not put it up here.
It’s purpously kind of doofy and EC Comicsish.

I kind of hate the first page, and don’t think a lot of it in general, but I am quite proud of the middle ‘remember when Frank Miller wasn’t the worst person in the world’ page.
Actually now that I think of it there’s a Jamie McKelvie/Tony Moore/J.G Jones reference(s) in the middle page as well. It was a sort of people I wish I was as talented as list.
