It’s International Woman’s Day so I drew Countess Markievicz looking like Han Solo.
Why? Because I can.
I worked my way up it, so the boots are good, the parachute pants passable, and everything else scribbled.
1 hour doodle.
Edit: I forgot to draw the sole of Daggers left boot.
My bad.
When Pat Butcher died in Eastenders I decided I’d much rather watch a show about two old broads solving mysteries so I was going to try put Pat Butcher and Peggy Mitchell into this here 39 Steps cover I saw.
I never finished it, but it’s been on my desktop for too long so I’m sticking it up here until I start following through or someone else takes it and adds the text and colours for me so I can take the credit.
I traced it and fixed the mistakes on Manga Studio.
I feel better now.
I bought a book of international stamps because almost everyone I know has bailed on Ireland and headed for London or the States. Anyway, this the postcard I sent to Marianne.
To submit as a preliminary to an horror/music anthology.
It was rejected. So I thought, why not put it up here.
It’s purpously kind of doofy and EC Comicsish.
I kind of hate the first page, and don’t think a lot of it in general, but I am quite proud of the middle ‘remember when Frank Miller wasn’t the worst person in the world’ page.
Actually now that I think of it there’s a Jamie McKelvie/Tony Moore/J.G Jones reference(s) in the middle page as well. It was a sort of people I wish I was as talented as list.

Hey look I drew Christina Ricci in Pan-am. She’s like a human lollipop.
You can’t tell from this but the drawing is about the size of my thumb,
I wanted her to be actual size.
I saw Drive last night.
Originally I was going to draw the cape hanging from a hat stand, which is why it’s supposed to look like she’s taking off her helmet, but I ran out of time and it was just easier to doodle in a cape.

I’m reading Grant Morrison’s book at the moment, and besides trips to the 5th dimension via Katmandu, the history of the Marvel Family has been bouncing around my head so I doodled Captain Marvel Jr. and tried to give him those C.C Beck curved line eyes.
